PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coat film capable of achieving both high hardness and prevention of whitening.SOLUTION: A hard coat film formed by using a silica sol containing silica fine particles to which surface a first organosilicon compound having a first functional group is bonded and silica fine particles to which surface a second organosilicon compound having a second functional group is bonded. The first functional group is a functional group which is bonded to a matrix component and the second functional group is a functional group which is not bonded to a matrix component. Further, the molar ratio a/b between the first organosilicon compound and the second organosilicon compound is preferably set in the range of 9:1 to 5:5.
