PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt retractor capable of reducing the number of components and sliding and guiding a webbing inserted into an insertion hole without damaging it.SOLUTION: A seat belt retractor includes a take-up drum for taking up a webbing, a housing having a pair of opposing side wall parts into which the take-up drum is inserted and which is rotatably fitted and at least one connection wall part for connecting the pair of side wall parts, and an insertion part disposed in the housing and provided with an insertion hole through which the webbing is inserted. The insertion part includes a projected part continuously projected from the inner peripheral part of the insertion hole in the drawing or take-up direction of the webbing and having a round chamfered part roughly circular arc in cross section at an inner peripheral side corner to which the webbing of a projected tip is slidable, and a curved surface part roughly circular arc in cross section formed in a peripheral part opposite the projected side peripheral edge from which the projected part of the insertion hole is projected. |
