PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file storage system that allows a user to easily download or share a file; and a method therefor.SOLUTION: A file storage system of the present invention is executed in a computing device. The file storage system comprises: a distribution module that distributes to each client a storage space in a cloud storage device which is electrically connected to the computing device; a generation module that when the client stores a file to the storage space of the cloud storage device, generates a file download page to the file and then generates an address of the file download page; an encoding module that encodes the address of the file download page to generate a corresponding information barcode; and a transmission module that transmits the generated information barcode to the client. This invention also provides a file storage method.
