摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a lithium ion battery soft carbon negative electrode material.SOLUTION: A method for producing a lithium ion battery soft carbon negative electrode material includes the steps of: mixing a catalyst and a pitch; heating up to 180-380°C and allowing the mixture to react for at least 0.7 hour; heating up to 320-600°C and allowing the mixture to react for at least 0.3 hour to obtain a mesophase spherical primary product; removing impurities from the mesophase spherical primary product to be dried, and obtaining a soft carbon-based mesocarbon microbead precursor; mixing the soft carbon-based mesocarbon microbead precursor and a nitrogen-containing compound and/or a boron-containing compound to be stood; and heating up to 400-1,600°C in a protective atmosphere, performing a thermal decomposition processing for at least 0.6 hour, and obtaining a soft carbon negative electrode.
