PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that enables the number of pages assigned to a single sheet of paper to be set and changed in an intuitive easy operation.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a display control section for displaying a page image to be image-processed in a preview display area displayed in a setting screen of an image forming process; an operation input acquisition section for acquiring a first operation input specifying a first position in a specifiable area corresponding to the page image and a second operation input specifying a second position in the preview display area; a determination section for determining, of a plurality of assignment setting regions set for different numbers of page images as regions for executing the process of setting the number of page images assigned to a single sheet of paper when specified as the second position, which assignment setting region corresponding to the number of page images is specified according to the second position; and a setting section for applying the setting of the number of page images assigned to a single sheet of paper to the page image relevant to the first operation input according to the determination result.
