PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for inhibiting an area that cannot be observed from occurring by eliminating an image on the basis of deformation information between images, and performing globally optimized image summary processing, and provide an image processing method and a program.SOLUTION: The image processor includes an image sequence acquisition part 200 for acquiring an image sequence having first to n-th images, and a processing part 100 for eliminating a portion of the first to N-th images and performing image summary processing. The processing part 100 selects an s-th (s is an integer satisfying 0≤s≤N+1) image as a temporary summary image, selects a t-th (t is an integer satisfying 0≤t≤s-1) image as a temporary preceding summary image, selects a u-th (u is an integer satisfying t<u<s) image as a determination object image, and calculates a summary section evaluation value G(t, s) to perform image summary processing on the basis of deformation information between the temporary summary image and the determination object image and between the summary preceding summary image and the determination object image. |
