<p>The present invention relates to a portable skincare device and to a method for controlling same. The device of the present invention includes: an input unit in which an operation command for performing a skincare management function is inputted; a beauty care operation unit that performs a skincare management operation by generating ions, vibrations, or LED light such that an active component of cosmetics is transferred to the dermis of the skin; a control unit that generates a control signal so as to set an operation mode based on the operation command, which is inputted via the input unit, and perform a skincare operation by the set operation mode; and a driving unit that drives the beauty care operation unit by adjusting the current and voltage according to the control signal. Operation modes are diversified according to the age, skin type, management sites, and problem areas of a user and various skincare management operation functions are performed, and thus an optimal skincare effect can be achieved.</p> |
