FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to laboratory diagnostics, and concerns predicting the termination of pregnancy in the first trimester. Substance of the method: early (up to 13 weeks) blood serum ?-subunit of human chorionic gonadotropin (?-HCG) and soluble vascular endothelial growth factor (sVEGFR-1) a combination of which possesses a high predictive significance to evaluate a risk of early reproductive loss. A discriminant analysis is used to calculate a prognostic index (PI) by formula: PI=0.02949X+1.26055X-0.91007, wherein Xis a ?-HCG concentration, ng/ml; Xis a sVEGFR-1 concentration, pg/ml; 0.91007 is a constant. If PI<0, the termination of existing pregnancy is predicted in the first trimester, and if PI>0, a low risk of early foetus loss is predicted. A sensitivity of the presented method makes 96.88%, a specificity is 75.0%, and the efficacy of the method is 85.94%.EFFECT: presented method is minimally invasive, enables early detection of a risk group of the termination of pregnancy which enables conducting the preventing measures aiming at the prevention of habitual miscarriage.5 ex |
