PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery charging apparatus capable of improving the controllability of battery charging by a single-phase AC generator.SOLUTION: A control circuit in the battery charging apparatus controls so that an output voltage of a single-phase AC generator is full-wave-rectified by a rectifier circuit when a rotational speed of the single-phase AC generator is less than a predetermined specified speed and so that an output voltage of the single-phase AC generator is half-wave-rectified by the rectifier circuit when a rotational speed is not less than the specified speed. |
