PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an organic thin film solar cell which improves coating properties of an organic layer and prevents defects of the solar cell in the manufacturing of the organic thin film solar cell.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an organic thin film solar cell having at least a pair of electrodes and an organic layer 37 on a substrate includes a processing step where remote type atmospheric pressure plasma treatment is performed on the organic layer 37.
