PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for correction control that is executed to a photoacoustic image and an ultrasonic image separately and can be adjusted by a user in a subject information acquisition device for acquiring the photoacoustic image and the ultrasonic image.SOLUTION: A subject information acquisition device to be used comprises: a probe; signal processing means for generating a first image by using a photoacoustic wave that is generated from a subject exposed to light and is received by the probe, and for generating a second image by using an ultrasonic wave that is received by the probe after being transmitted to and reflected by the subject; display means for displaying the first and second images; first correction means for correcting luminance of the first image according to distance from the probe; and second correction means for correcting luminance of the second image according to the distance from the probe, independently of the first correction means. |
