摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stimulus-responsive compound, deformation material, and actuators employing the same, which can greatly be displaced by a low voltage.SOLUTION: A stimulus-responsive compound according to the present invention has at least one deformation portion whose molecular structure deforms by oxidation-reduction reaction, and at least one electron transport portion that is composed of carbon material, and is characterized in that the deformation portion and the electron transport portion are bonded together. Preferably it has a plurality of the electron transport portion. Preferably it has a plurality of the deformation portion. Preferably the deformation portion and the electron transport portion are bonded together via an ester group. Preferably the electron transport portion comprises carbon nano-tubes.
