PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collimator for use in a CT system which has implemented the reduction of mutual interference between the aperture edges in beam tracking, increased tracking range, improved tracking sensitivity, and enhancement of anti-noise ability.SOLUTION: A collimator for use in a CT system is made of an X-ray absorbing material, and comprises: an imaging aperture having a first width for passage of a first X-ray beam which is used for X-ray imaging; and a tracking aperture having a second width for passage of a second X-ray beam which is used for X-ray beam tracking. The present invention can improve one or more aspects in the prior art. That is, the present invention can achieve one or more of the following in beam tracking: reducing beam interference, increasing tracking range, improving tracking sensitivity, enhancing noise resistance, and so on. |
