Provided is a method for determining a temporal motion vector predictor, which can improve the effect of acquiring a temporal motion vector predictor of a currently processed image block. The method comprises: according to image information about a reference image of a current image block, determining a corresponding image of the current image block from an image set, wherein the image information comprises any of the following information: an image type, an image order count (POC) relationship between same and an image to which the current block belongs, and a belonging layer in scalable coding or a belonging view in multi-view coding, the image type is divided into a long-term type and a short-term type, the POC relationship is divided into POCs that are the same and POCs that are different, the belonging layer is divided into a base layer and an enhancement layer, and the belonging view is divided into a base view and a dependent view; or according to image information about a corresponding image of the current image block, determining a reference image of the current image block from the image set; determining a corresponding image block of the current image block in the corresponding image; and according to the reference image and the corresponding image block, determining a temporal motion vector predictor of the current image block. |
