An ornamentation (1) attachable to a strap (2), such as a strap of on an item of a footwear (3). The ornamentation comprises a base (4), an ornament (5) associated with the base (4) and a mounting means (7) for mounting the base (4) to the strap (2). The ornament (1) may be associated with the base (4) in any appropriate way; for example, by being formed integrally with the base (4), permanently attached to the base or removably attachable to the base (4). The base (4) is configured for engagement by the mounting means (7). The mounting means (7) comprises an elastic band (7) adapted to be hooked onto curved end portions (11) of the base (4). |
