PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which reduces the number of components and man hours of the assembly work and enables easy assembly.SOLUTION: A light emitting device 1 includes: a substrate 2 that is a long flexible wiring board; multiple light emitting parts 3 which are provided on the substrate 2 being arranged in a longitudinal direction; a straight pipe 4 which houses the substrate 2; and a cap 5 which is provided at an opening end part 4a of the straight pipe 4. The straight pipe 4 includes: a pedestal part 4e on which the substrate 2 is placed; and an engagement part 4d which is formed below the pedestal part 4e and with which a first protrusion 5b protruding from an inner wall 5a of the cap 5 engages. The substrate 2 has a folded part 2b which is folded and inserted into the engagement part 4d at a longitudinal end part 2c. The folded part 2b inserted into the engagement part 4d is held by engaging the first protrusion 5b with the engagement part 4d. |
