PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that has excellent environmental stability, low-temperature fixability, development durability, and storage stability.SOLUTION: A toner includes toner particles having a surface layer containing an organic silicon polymer. The organic silicon polymer is a polymer obtained through polymerization of a compound having a structure represented by a specific formula. In mapping measurement using the average thickness Dav. of the surface layer and FIB-TOF-SIMS, a ratio of silicon ions to carbon ions is a specific value, the silicon ions and carbon ions being emitted from the toner particles when the surface of the toner particles is irradiated with primary ions. |
