PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump device capable of reducing noise generated at a time of return to a heating operation after the end of a defrosting operation.SOLUTION: A heat pump device includes: a refrigerant circuit; and a control unit. The refrigerant circuit includes: a compressor; an evaporation mechanism; a heat-source-side heat exchanger; and a use-side heat exchanger. The control unit controls the refrigerant circuit to perform a heating operation or a defrosting operation. The control unit exerts a first compressor starting control and a second compressor starting control. The first compressor starting control is a control for increasing number of revolutions of the compressor at the start of the heating operation. The second compressor starting control is a control for increasing the number of revolutions of the compressor after end of the defrosting operation. The control unit exerts the second compressor starting control at a second acceleration rate that is an acceleration rate lower than a first acceleration rate that is an acceleration rate of the first compressor starting control. The acceleration rate is an increase in the number of revolutions of the compressor per unit time. |
