<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of shortening a time for stopping a device for firmware update.SOLUTION: The information processor of this invention includes a central processing unit for selectively reading one between an operating system firmware and a standby system firmware at start-up, storing means for storing the standby system firmware, and update control means for receiving update data of firmware while the central processing unit operates with the operating system firmware, updating the standby system firmware of the storing means, and instructing the central processing unit to read the updated standby system firmware to restart at prescribed timing.</p> |
