PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile handrail disinfection device of a passenger conveyor capable of appropriately using different disinfectants according to situations or the like of the device, and performing appropriate disinfection processing with little waste.SOLUTION: A disinfection device 10B includes a coating roller 17 that is brought into contact with the surface of a mobile handrail 5, a first impregnation roller 18 and second impregnation roller 19 that feed a disinfectant, and contact roller switching means including a first sliding part 22A, a second sliding part 22B, and a sliding mechanism 23A that individually slides or moves the sliding parts. When a predetermined switching condition is established, a control unit 60B controls the sliding mechanism 23A so as to individually slide or move the first sliding part 22A and second sliding part 22B, and switches a roller, which is brought into contact with the coating roller 17, from the first impregnation roller 18 to the second impregnation roller 19 or from the second impregnation roller 19 to the first impregnation roller 18. |
