PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin housing device and an automatic winder capable of recovering a yarn-unwound bobbin in a state in which a direction of an end part of the yarn-unwound bobbin is aligned by preventing change of the direction of the end part of the yarn-unwound bobbin due to bound of the yarn-unwound bobbin in a housing part and the like.SOLUTION: The bobbin housing device for housing a yarn-unwound bobbin B ejected from a winding unit 10 includes: input ports 671 and 672 to which the yarn-unwound bobbin B is input; a holding part 61 for temporarily holding the yarn-unwound bobbin B input form the input ports 671 and 672 while keeping the end part of the yarn-unwound bobbin B in a direction and ejecting the yarn-unwound bobbin B held when an amount of the yarn-unwound bobbin B held reaches a specified amount; and a housing part 71 for housing the yarn-unwound bobbin B ejected from the holding part 61 dividing the yarn-unwound bobbin B into a plurality of sections. The holding part 61 has a distribution ejection mechanism 81 for distributing the yarn-unwound bobbin B held to each of the sections of the housing part 71. |
