<p>A photoelectric convertor comprises at least one photoelectric conversion device including a phototransistor which generates an output current having a magnitude corresponding to an intensity of incident light and a current-voltage conversion unit which converts the output current of the photoelectric conversion device to an output voltage. The current-voltage conversion unit compresses a dynamic range of the output voltage to a dynamic range of the output current.</p>
