This packaging/installation jig for a linear motor is used both for holding an armature (3) and a magnetic field unit (4) that constitute the linear motor (2), and for installing the armature (3) and the magnetic field unit (4) on a device. The jig is equipped with a shipment packaging/installation jig (5) serving as a main jig body that is made of a non-magnetic material, has a groove section for holding the armature (3), and is sandwiched by the armature (3) and the field unit (4) by means of a magnetic attractive force which is generated between the armature (3) held by the groove section and the field unit (4). The shipment packaging/installation jig (5) has a split structure in which the jig is divided inside the groove section region. |
