<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that does not require a temporary holding box and a mechanism for feeding a cash voucher from the temporary holding box, and can reduce the cost by downsizing the device, simplifying the device, and reducing the number of components.SOLUTION: The payment device includes: a paper feed section 10 for feeding a cash voucher including a bank bill; a reading section 20 for reading the image of the cash voucher; and a storage section 30 having cash boxes 31 and 32 for storing the cash voucher. The payment device includes returning means for returning the cash voucher read by the reading section to the paper feed section 10 and making it wait. When the transaction is established, the cash voucher that is returned to the paper feed section 10 and waits is conveyed to the storage section 30. When the transaction is aborted, the cash voucher is directly taken out of the paper feed section.</p> |
