摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that maintaining qualities of a liquid crystal display element is difficult in a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display element which includes a process of constituting a liquid crystal cell followed by irradiating the liquid crystal cell with light while a voltage is applied between conductive films possessed by a pair of substrates, because characteristics of the element greatly depend on the concentration of a (meth)acryl group and/or a vinyl group in a liquid crystal alignment layer and the concentration fluctuates by environmental factors or the like.SOLUTION: A method for controlling a liquid crystal alignment layer and/or a liquid crystal aligning agent is provided, which comprises measuring a concentration of (meth)acryl group and/or a vinyl group in the liquid crystal alignment layer and/or the liquid crystal aligning agent by applying Raman spectroscopy or infrared spectroscopy.</p>
