PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery mounting structure capable of maintaining coupling between a rear floor side panel and a side outer panel even though the coupling strength between the rear floor side panel and the side outer panel is not set to be particularly high.SOLUTION: In a battery mounting structure, a placing part 54 of a battery tray 52 is fixed indirectly to a lower wall part 44 of a rear floor side panel 22 via the lower end side of a reinforce 92, and also a coupling part 62 as the upper end side of an upper extending wall 60 of the battery tray 52 is indirectly fixed to the upper wall part 24 of the rear floor side panel 22 via the upper end side of the reinforce 92. As a result of the structure, load applied on the placing part 54 from the upper side is distributed into the lower wall part 44 of the rear floor side panel 22 and the vicinity of the joint part of the rear floor side panel 22 with a rear side member 32. So that, the joining strength of the joint part between the lower wall part 44 of the rear floor side panel 22 and a side outer panel 46 is not necessary to be set particularly high. |
