PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side air bag device exerting small effect on a loading object on a seat arranged in an expansion/development direction of a side air bag.SOLUTION: A plurality of folded creases 13a are formed on expansion surface of a side air bag 2 facing the side of head part 5a of a dummy doll 5 lying sideways. Upon expansion/development of the side air bag 2, the plurality of folded creases 13a deform into a recessed state, so that the head part 5a of the dummy doll 5 can be received by a plurality of recessed folded creases 13a. Upon expansion/development of the side air bag 2, in a case where a side part of the dummy doll 5 normally sitting comes into contacts with an expansion surface of the side air bag 2, the plurality of folded creases 13a does not deform into the recessed state, resulting in that the plurality of folded creases 13a act as an expansion surface and hold the side part of the dummy doll 5. |
