The present invention provides a drive device of an unmanned transportation vehicle which comprises: a fixed plate fixed on a vehicle body; a rotary shaft provided on the fixed plate to be rotatable; a housing fixed on the rotary shaft; a pair of running wheels provided on both sides of the housing, respectively; and a wheel unit provided inside the housing, including a pair of wheel driving motors rotating the rotary shaft to make the vehicle body run forwards and backwards and to the horizontal direction by rotating the running wheels at the same numbers of revolution or at the different numbers of revolution by being connected to each running wheel. Thus, the unmanned transportation vehicle is capable of running forwards and backwards and to the horizontal direction.
