The present invention relates to a system and a method for monitoring a status of a racing vehicle, in which collected status information of the racing vehicle is transmitted to a server through wireless communications and mechanics or participants can check the status information of the racing vehicle in real time by using a program executed in the server. The system comprises a data collection device, a vehicle status information management server, and a racing vehicle status checking monitor. The data collection device includes an OBD module, a GPS module, a gravitational acceleration sensor, a gyro sensor module, and a wireless communications module, which are connected and mounted in a vehicle, collects data through the connected data collection modules, and transmits the collected data to the vehicle status information management server in real time. The vehicle status information management server receives the racing vehicle status data transmitted from the data collection device through a wireless communication, and performs processing such that the racing vehicle status data can be analyzed, stored and monitored. The racing vehicle status checking monitor monitors the data analyzed by the vehicle status information management server. |
