The present invention relates to an expandable barrier apparatus for a duct, wherein the expandable barrier apparatus shaped into a balloon and made from a material capable of intercepting high temperature can be easily installed in the duct, thereby blocking a work space in the duct from the backflow of hot gas or steam, the drops of clinkers, etc, and safely separating the work space. According to the present invention, the expandable barrier apparatus for the duct comprises: a balloon body made from silicon coating fiber glass, having an inlet formed on one side thereof, and having a sealed inner space connected to the inlet; partition supporting parts installed in the balloon body at regular intervals so that the balloon body can be shaped into a rectangular parallelepiped when expanded; a zipper installed on the separation end of the balloon body so that the balloon body can be separated into two parts; a handle installed to be fixed to one surface of the balloon body by sewing so that the balloon body can be easily moved and installed; and a connection loop installed to be fixed to the one surface of the balloon body by the sewing so that the balloon body can be installed in the duct. |
