PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable silicone composition having excellent handling workability, from which, when cured, a cured product having a high refractive index and low gas permeability is formed.SOLUTION: The curable silicone composition comprises at least: (A) an organopolysiloxane resin expressed by an average unit formula and having at least two alkenyl groups in one molecule; (B) an organopolysiloxane expressed by a general formula; (C) (C) an organosiloxane expressed by a general formula, (C) an organosiloxane expressed by an average unit formula and having at least two hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon atoms in one molecule, or a mixture of the (C) component and the (C) component; and (D) a catalyst for a hydrosilylation reaction.
