Provided are a method for adding an application icon, and a method and apparatus for removing the application icon. The method for adding an application icon in a folder comprises: dragging the folder on a touch interface of a terminal; when a preset shift-in triggering event is detected, judging whether the application icon is contained in a capturing region of the folder, wherein the shift-in triggering event is an event for triggering the application icon to be shifted from the outside of the folder to the inside of the folder; and the capturing region of the folder is a region which is determined according to the position of the folder on the touch interface and has an area within a preset range, or the capturing region of the folder is a region marked out by a user on the touch interface; and when the application icon exists in a coverage range of the capturing region of the folder, shifting the application icon in the capturing region of the folder from the outside of the folder to the inside of the folder. By means of the present invention, operation steps are greatly reduced, and the purpose of rapidly adding an application icon in a folder is achieved. |
