The present invention relates to a power controller for transmitting power to an electronic device and a control method thereof. The power controller includes a display unit for displaying information; a wireless communications unit for communicating with an electric power source unit; a collecting unit for collecting a quantity of electric energy used by the electric power source unit through the wireless communications unit; and a control unit for outputting the collected quantity of electric energy to the display unit and for controlling the wireless communications unit to transmit a control signal, which controls an operating mode of an electronic device connected with the electric power source unit, to the electric power source.
