PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet discharge device capable of aligning sheets fed from a sheet discharge port at a processing position and post-processing the sheet.SOLUTION: A sheet discharge device includes: a sub-tray temporarily supporting sheets fed from a sheet discharge port; sheet moving means for moving the sheets transported to this sub-tray toward a stopper member arranged outside of the tray; and first and second guide members performing sheet determination from a sheet transport position on the sub-tray to a stopper position. At least a pair of first guide members are arranged to be distant from each other in a direction generally orthogonal to sheet edges engaged with a stopper member, and the second guide member is arranged in a direction crossing sheet ends between the first guide members.
