摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that prevents the occurrence of flicker.SOLUTION: A transistor, a liquid crystal element receiving alternately a first signal and a second signal with opposite polarities through the transistor, and a capacity element having a first electrode and a second electrode are included in a plurality of pixels, respectively. The liquid crystal element includes a pixel electrode and a common electrode having an overlapped area across an insulating film, and a liquid crystal layer on the pixel electrode and the common electrode. The common electrodes are electrically connected between the plurality of pixels. The first electrode included in the capacity element is electrically connected to the pixel electrode. After the first signal is given to the liquid crystal element, until the second signal is given to the liquid crystal element, in order that the change of a voltage applied to the liquid crystal layer becomes smaller, a potential of the second electrode is changed between a first potential and a second potential different in height.
