PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container stopping device making it possible to shorten a work time, which is required for stopper model change work, while preventing a deformation of an abutment part.SOLUTION: A container stopping device stops a container 2, which is conveyed by conveyance means 15, by clamping a flank 2a of the container 2 with a pair of stoppers 21 and 22. At least one of the pair of stoppers 21 and 22 is formed with a first stopper 21 including a first abutment unit 23 that includes a first abutment part 26 which abuts on the flank 2a of the container 2 and a stay 27 extended in a direction of receding from the container 2, a first support 24 that supports the first abutment unit 23 with the stay 27 placed thereon in an axial O direction of the container 2, and a first fastening member 25 that detachably secures the first abutment unit 23 with respect to the first support 24 by fastening the first abutment unit in the axial O direction of the container 2. |
