PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a macro processing function having such high versatility as to be used for plural different analytical instruments, and an analytical instrument controller having such a function.SOLUTION: A processing instruction relating to an analytical instrument and/or an analytical instrument controller is stored in a processing instruction retaining unit, and visual information on a command item visually expressing the processing instruction is stored in an item retaining unit, respectively. An association of the command item with the processing instruction is stored in a command associating unit. An editing screen display unit displays on a display device 14 an editing screen having an item presenting area for displaying the command item stored in the item retaining unit and an editing area where the command item is to be arranged. An editing support unit moves the command item in the item presenting area to the editing area in accordance with a user's operation through an input unit 16 and aligns the command item. When receiving a macro execution instruction, a macro executing unit refers to the processing instruction retaining unit on the basis of information in the command associating unit from the command item aligned in the editing area, in order to transmit an instruction to the analytical instrument and/or the analytical instrument controller. |
