PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source driving circuit, an optical scanner, and an image forming apparatus capable of improving response characteristics to output of light.SOLUTION: A light source driving circuit includes: a drive current generation unit that generates a driving current including a predetermined current obtaining a predetermined intensity of light from a light source, and a first undershoot current and a second undershoot current subtracted from the predetermined current; and a control unit that sets the first undershoot current to a fixed value, and sets the second undershoot current to a value adjusted according to the intensity of light of the light source.
