The industrial truck (1) has a drive part (2), in which a steerable drive wheel and support rollers (6a,6b) laterally spaced from the drive wheel are arranged. The support rollers are rotatably arranged at drive part about a vertical axis (V) and are supported resiliently at the drive part by a spring unit. A locking unit is provided for blocking the spring movement of the support rollers. The locking unit is formed by a ball screw which comprises a vertically movable nut coupled with the support rollers. The nut drives a rotatable spindle of the ball screw, whose rotary motion is blocked by a blocking unit.
