<p>Disclosed are a method and device for searching for a channel in a wireless LAN system. The method for searching for a channel in a wireless LAN system, according to an embodiment, may include the steps of extracting at least one subject channel from a plurality of channels that exist in at least one frequency band using channel search record information; generating a basic service set (BBS) existing channel information element including at least one BBS existing channel bitmap that indicates information on a channel in which at least one access point exists, using channel information received from at least one adjacent terminal; determining a search priority of the at least one subject channel using the BBS existing channel information element; and searching for the at least one subject channel on the basis of the search priority so as to identify a target access point.</p> |
