This disclosure relates to a to a system (1) for controlling air conditioning (both heating and cooling) multiple zones (Z], Z2, Z3, Z4), the system comprising airflow ducts (A 1, A2, A3, A4) for directing cooling or heating airflow into each zone, airflow throttle means (D1, D2, D3, D4) in each duct (A1, A2, 5 A3, A4) adapted to control the rate of airflow to each zone, temperature sensors (TI, T2, T3, T4) in each zone, and control means 4 for controlling each said airflow throttle means (DI, D2, D3, D4) and thereby the rate of airflow supplied to a zone based on the temperature of that particular zone in relation to the average temperature of the zones.
