PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a stretchable sheet, in which individual thread-like elastic members in a stretched state are interposed and jointed along a cross direction for every first continuous sheets.SOLUTION: A stretchable sheet manufacturing apparatus comprises: a plurality of first rolls for transporting a plurality of continuous sheets 11 along the continuous direction of said continuous sheets 11 by rotationally driving while winding the first continuous sheets 11 on the outer circumference; a single second roll disposed to have its outer circumference confronting the outer circumference of said first rolls and driven to rotate while the second continuous sheet 12 rolling on said outer circumference thereby to transport the second continuous sheet 12 along the continuing direction of said second continuous sheet 12; and a plurality of carrier mechanisms 31 disposed at each of said first rolls for carrying the continuum of said thread-like elastic members 13, toward between said first continuous sheet 11 and said second continuous sheet 12 to be overlapped and jointed by said first roll and said second roll. |
