PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which discharges heat in the apparatus to the outside efficiently.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a lower housing 2A and an upper housing 3A arranged above the lower housing 2A. On a lower surface side of the upper housing 3A, a first inclined surface 61 is formed which extends obliquely upward from a lower end 61A toward an upper end 61B. The lower end 61A of the first inclined surface 61 is arranged in a position where the air heated by a fixing unit 24 rises from below. The upper end 61B of the first inclined surface 61 is arranged in a position which guides the heated air flowing obliquely upward from the lower end 61A of the first inclined surface 61 along the first inclined surface 61 so as to be separated from a discharge section of a recording medium. The upper end 61B of the first inclined surface 61 is arranged inside a partition wall 65 which forms the outside and inside of the device. The partition wall 65 includes an exhaust port 66 for discharging the heated air flowing along the first inclined surface 61 to the outside of the device. |
