PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation material capable of improving drainage performance even when forming the insulation material by bar-shaped foams, and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: Bar-shaped foams 11 obtained by extruding and foaming a foam material are oriented in one direction and adjacent foams are mutually welded and integrated together while lapping positions in the direction, thus forming a tabular heat insulation material 10. In the heat insulation material 10, drain grooves 53, which are deeper than a clearance groove 52 between the foams 11 arranged on a top face 14 side with the positions in a plate thickness direction aligned with each other, are formed on the top face 14 of one side in the plate thickness direction. Therefore, the drain grooves 53 can be formed when pressing the top face 14 for thickness adjustment performed to the foams 11 on the downstream side of an extruding direction after extrusion molding, or the drain grooves 53 can be formed by thinning the foams 11 during extrusion molding. |
