PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic material having excellent characteristics including a high μ' and a low μ" in high frequency.SOLUTION: A magnetic material is a particle assembly which contains metal nanoparticles 10a containing at least one magnetic metal selected from a group consisting of Fe, Co, Ni having an average particle size of 1-20 nm, at least one nonmagnetic metal existing between metal nanoparticles and selected from Mg, Al, Si, Ca, Zr, Ti, Hf, Zn, Mn, Ba, Sr, Cr, Mo, Ag, Ga, Sc, V, Y, Nb, Pb, Cu, In, Sn, and rare earth elements, and a first intervention phase 10b containing any of oxygen (O), nitrogen (N) or carbon (C), and having an average short dimension of 10 nm-2 μm and an average aspect ratio of 5 or more. Volume filling factor of metal nanoparticles is 40-80 vol% for the whole particle assembly. |
