PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently use generated power.SOLUTION: A power control device comprises: a direct-current bus serving as a path for supplying direct-current power; a first conversion device for DC/DC converting the direct-current power from a power generation part generating power using natural energy and for outputting it to the direct-current bus; a second conversion device for DC/DC converting the direct-current power from the direct-current bus, charging a power storage part storing the power, DC/DC converting the direct-current power of the power storage part, and discharging it to the direct-current bus; a third conversion device for DC/AC converting the direct-current power from the direct-current bus and supplying alternating-current power to a power system and an alternating-current load; and a control part for controlling driving of the first to third conversion devices. The control part makes an electric potential of the direct-current bus into a first electric potential at which the first conversion device can be stably operated according to an output of the power generation part, charges the second conversion device, and stops the third conversion device. This technique can be applied, for example, to a power conditioner. |
