<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a vapor deposition article formed, on the surface, with a blue film expressing a metallic texture and a method of producing the vapor deposition article.SOLUTION: A method of producing a vapor deposition article includes a step of supplying a substrate and a step of forming a color layer on the substrate by a magnetron sputtering method using a chromium target, an aluminum target and a silicon target with argon as an inert gas. The color layer is composed of three ingredients consisting of chromium, aluminum and silicon, in an atomic ratio of chromium, aluminum and silicon contained in the color layer of 1-3:0.5-2:0.3-1. The color gamut of the color layer lies in the ranges of 25-28 in the Lcoordinate, -1 to -6 in the acoordinate and -5 to -9 in the bcoordinate in the CIE LAB color comparison system.</p> |
