PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type emulsion cosmetic for scalp which can be easily and directly applied to the scalp without staining the hair and has excellent usability (skin fitness, uniform applicability and quick-drying property).SOLUTION: There is provided an oil-in-water type emulsion cosmetic for the scalp which comprises the following (a) to (c) components and has a viscosity at 30°C of 3000 to 6000 mPa s: (a) an oil-soluble ultraviolet absorber; (b) a liquid oil agent which comprises an ester of a linear or branched fatty acid having 10 to 18 carbon atoms and a linear or branched alcohol having 6 to 24 carbon atoms and is liquid at 25°C (provided that (a) component is excluded); and (c) 15 mass% or more and 30 mass% or less of ethanol based on the total amount of the cosmetic. |
