PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the inclination of a ball bearing arranged in a portion in which the ball bearing is permitted to move in an axial direction of a shaft at a time of supporting the shaft using combined ball bearings that are a combination of a plurality of ball bearings.SOLUTION: A bearing device 20 supporting a shaft of a rotary machine includes: a first ball bearing combination 21 attached to one end of the shaft 3 in a state in which a preload is applied to a plurality of ball bearings 10 and 11, and attached to a first attachment portion so that the ball bearings 10 and 11 can move in an axial direction of the shaft 3; and a second ball bearing combination 22 attached to other end of the shaft 3, attached to a second attachment portion, and restricted from moving at least in the axial direction of the shaft 3. |
