The invention mainly concerns a cutout of an attachment wedge for attaching a seat slider to a structural element of the floor of a motor vehicle that is essentially characterised in that it is made from a thin metal sheet (1) extending along a main longitudinal axis (XX') on which a transverse fold line (A) is provided, defining a first profile (3) for connection with the slider and a second profile (4) for connection with the structural element after the first (3) and second (4) profiles have been folded one against the other about said fold line (A). The invention further concerns an attachment wedge obtained by folding the second profile 4 against the first profile 4 about fold line A and an attachment assembly for attaching a seat slider to a structural element of the floor of a motor vehicle.
